The skateboard was invented in 1958 and it was a sport from roller skates but just on a board and as surfing got popular more people started to skateboard because it was like surfing on the sidewalk.
The skateboard comes out of Amerika.In detail CALIFORNIA.There the surfers came in the 50ds they came on the idea to build a surfboard for the street.So they took roller skates and hamerd them with everything(just without the shoe)on the board.no one thought at kickflip thought.they just rolled over the street,or rolled down a hill.Then factorys begane to build the first skateboards.Now the skating was born.They skated down steps,walls and on and on and on.In the 80sgermany started skateboarding.So th ey stared Word cups to them self.ISABEL
